The multi-specialty hospital named after Kokilaben Ambani, wife of industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani boasts of many firsts in the country as well as in Asia. Due to chest pain on 17th May 2017, she was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and died the next morning at 3:15 am with the reason stated as cardiac arrest.

3. Irrfan Khan (7th January 1967 – 29th April 2020) – Another recent unexpected demise in the same hospital occured when Irrfan Khan left the world. He was the best at what he did. Be it romance, negative or any unconventional role, he is known for doing them all effortlessly. Known for being an incredible actor both in Bollywood and Hollywood, Irrfan was first diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in March 2018 and underwent treatment in UK.

The actor did a few films whenever he could manage to work. However, he was once again rushed to the hospital on 28th April where he received treatment for a colon infection. Sadly, he died the following day and shocked his fans. Irrfan not just entertained but touched lives through various characters on-screen. Thus, his fans and film fraternity have been taking the demise as a personal loss.

The updates on his downfall had his passionate fans sharing their tributes via web-based networking media.
